A four-issue editorial system for a quiet quarterly on material culture, printed in two-colour on uncoated stock.
The Challenge
Design a magazine that reads like an object — one that feels considered on the newsstand and intimate in the hand.
The Approach
A single wide-set serif, a rigid baseline grid, and photography allowed to breathe across full-bleed spreads.
The Outcome
The redesigned system doubled subscription retention and was shortlisted at the D&AD 2025 Editorial category.
